Beaufortia incana

About this plant

Growing 0.5 to 2m this low shrub is commonly known as “Grey-leaved Beaufortia” due to the fine soft hairs covering the leaves. Flowering August to December the dense red flowers attract small nectar feeding birds and butterflies. Found broadly east to south-east of Perth and prefers well draining soils in full sun to part shade.
