Eremophila subfloccosa var. lanata

About this plant

Known as the “Dense-felted Eremophila” this shrub has gorgeous foliage covered in fine hairs which give it a stunning silvery hue and make it soft to the touch. The leaves are strongly scented when crushed and the flowers are usually green-yellow in colour. The lanata subspecies is an erect shrub growing to 1.2m rather than a spreading groundcover. Often found on the edges of salt-lakes and in semi-arid sandy soils, the natural range is spread across a broad area between Cue and Rawlinna making it a salt and drought tolerant addition to any native garden.
