Verticordia monadelpha var. callitricha

About this plant

Flowering October to January with pink blooms, the flowers on this species are crowed and erect in a corymbose arrangement and cover the surface of the shrub giving this verticordia it’s common names the pink woolly featherflower or pink cauliflower. A dense rounded shrub, the callitricha variant is usually less than 1m in height and width in comparison to the larger 1.7-2m monadelpha variant. Grows best in deep or gravelly sand in lateritic heathlands and open shrubland with low humidity for optimal flowering.
