Verticordia dichroma var. syntoma

About this plant

A small dense shrub only 0.4-1m high, the dichroma is well named for its stunning two-toned flower display. From October to November it becomes covered in masses of beautiful flowers of yellow, orange, and red in a distinctive colour combination. Found in Carnarvon and Geraldton sandplains near Murchison River it grows best in well drained soil and full sun. Classified a Priority 3 as they are poorly known and under-researched with only a few small populations in the wild.
