Phymatocarpus maxwellii

About this plant

An erect to spreading shrub between 0.3 to 2.5m high, this member of the Myrtaceae family becomes covered by many small heads of bright pink to purple flowers from August to November. Found in the Coolgardie, Esperance Plains, and Mallee biogeographic regions this hardy garden addition is tolerant to most soils, but prefers sand with winter wet depressions.
